What does a miniature golden retriever look like?

Miniature Golden Retrievers, as the name suggests, are essentially smaller versions of the beloved Golden Retriever Dog. They inherit many of the physical characteristics of their larger cousins, but in a more compact package. Here’s a breakdown of their appearance:

English cream mini golden retrievers are usually straight haired so if you want them to look like a golden retriever they don’t have furnishings. Furnishings are the little whiskers or  the longer hair that can be right on the face that you see really often with golden doodles or dogs with the longer hair and they also are supposed to not have as much curl.
